Sampath Kumar (18 September 1950 – 30 December 2009), known by his stage name Vishnuvardhan, was an Indian actor predominantly in Kannada cinema. He is regarded as one of the popular cultural icon of Karnataka. Vishnuvardhan is often referred to as ''Sahasa Simha'' and ''The Angry Young Man of Kannada Cinema.'' He appeared in more than 220 films all together in Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan (born 15 August 1950), also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie ''Love in Bangalore.'' In a career spanning over 50 years, Bharathi has appeared in 150 films. Apart from 100 films in Kannada, she has also acted in a handful of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. In the course of her career, she became known for portrayal of the roles mythological and historical characters, and also that of a student, a romantic and a rural belle. Her role in '' Sri Krishnadevaraya'' (1970) as Chennambike won her the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. In 2017, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. Vishnuvardhan is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter who predominantly works in the Tamil cinema. A one-time associate of Santosh Sivan, he made his directorial debut in 2003 with ''Kurumbu'', which did not fare well at the box office. However, his subsequent films, ''Arinthum Ariyamalum'' (2005), ''Pattiyal'' (2006), '' Billa'' (2007), ''Panjaa'' (2011) with Pawan kalyan as main lead and ''Arrambam'' (2013) went on to become highly successful ventures, turning him into a household name in Tamil Nadu. Vishnu Vardhan (born 27 July 1987), also known as J. Vishnuvardhan, is a professional tennis player from India. He won bronze medal in men's doubles at 2010 Asian games in Guangzhou, China. He paired-up with and Sania Mirza for mixed doubles and won silver medal at the same event. He was featured as ITF player of April 2011. Yashodharman (Gupta script: ''Ya-śo-dha-rmma'', ) (r. 515 – 545) was a ruler of Malwa, in central India, during the early part of the 6th century. He probably belonged to the Second Aulikara dynasty. He conquered much of the Indian subcontinent between c. 530-540 AD according to Mandsaur pillar inscription. History Towards the end of the 5th century, India came under attack from the Hunas. Yashodharman and possibly the Gupta emperor, Narasimhagupta, defeated a Huna army and their ruler Mihirakula in 528 AD and drove them out of India.
